L1800 printer, good support

I recently purchased the L1800 DTF Printer and a DTF Starter Kit. Ordering was straightforward on their website, pretty easy to navigate. Delivery took about a week, which was expected for such a large item, and it arrived well-packaged without any damage. I did have a couple of questions during setup, especially about the RIP Software, so I reached out to support. They responded within a day and walked me through a few steps, which was helpful. The printer itself seems robust, and the prints have been really good so far. I'm still learning all the ins and outs, but the initial quality of the transfers is impressive. The included starter kit had everything I needed to get going, which made the unboxing experience less daunting. Overall, a solid experience for a significant investment.

Good deal on A4 DTF

I was looking for an A4 DTF Printer and really comparing prices. Procolored had a pretty good offer with a bundle discount that included some DTF Film and ink. It felt like a solid value for what I got, especially compared to others I looked at. Shipping was reasonable, and everything arrived safely. It seemed worth the purchase for my small setup, very practical.

Consistent quality, fast shipping

I've ordered DTF Ink and DTF Powder from Procolored a few times now, and they've always been reliable. My last order for the ink and powder arrived two days earlier than the tracking said, which was great. The quality is consistent, never had issues with my A3 DTF Printer using their supplies. That's why I keep coming back.

What's the return policy like if I get a DTF printer and it's just not working out for my small business? Kinda nervous about dropping that much cash.

J Jared Reyes 2 months ago

Their returns were pretty straightforward for me, though I only returned some ink. For a printer, I'd definitely double check their specific policy, those are big items. Think there might be restocking fees.

G Greg 2 months ago

I'd read the fine print on the printer return policy. Usually for big items like that, there are conditions and probably shipping costs back to them unless it's defective. I'd give their support a shout before buying if you're really worried.

Trying to decide between Procolored and some other brands like DTG Pro. Anyone have experience with both or can speak to Procolored's print quality / longevity?

S Sarah 2 months ago

I went with Procolored after looking at DTG Pro and honestly, the support from Procolored has been really good. Print quality is solid for the price point, no complaints on that front.

My Procolored UV DTF has been a workhorse for over a year now. Compared to some cheaper brands, it's definitely more robust. Can't speak for DTG Pro directly but I'm happy with my choice.

Thinking of grabbing one of their DTF printers, probably the A3. How long does shipping usually take to like, California?

A Anna R. 2 months ago

Mine got to Texas in about 5 days, I think they ship from a US warehouse so it's pretty quick usually.

S Steve T. 2 months ago

Yeah, I'm in Washington and it was super fast. Less than a week. Just make sure someone's home for delivery, those boxes are big.

considering a printer bundle, but saw a 500 dollar off deal mentioned somewhere. is that a separate coupon or just part of the bundle price?

A Amber 2 months ago

Sometimes it's just the bundle price, sometimes they have specific coupon codes for that amount during sales events like Black Friday. Keep an eye out.

M Mia 2 months ago

I got a $500 off code when I signed up for their newsletter, but it was just a one-time thing. Check if there's a new subscriber offer still going on.

Hey, anyone know if Procolored printers are basically just souped-up Epson machines? Or are they totally custom?

A Alex Z. 2 months ago

AFAIK, they're often modified Epson bases. That's pretty common in the DTF world. Nothing wrong with it though, parts are usually easy to find.

M Marcus 2 months ago

Yeah, some models are definitely built off Epson guts. It's not a secret, good for reliability mostly. They do their own thing with the DTF specific parts though.
